Description

Major expansion project for a commercial and multi-residential building.

The project consisted of adding two floors of underground parking (137 spaces), three floors of medical polyclinic and commercial spaces as well as three floors with 29 rental condos.

Meeting the schedule was one of the main challenges of this project since the housing units absolutely had to be delivered by a very specific date, namely June 2022. Also, respecting the budget was an important issue for the client, because the market context at that time (pandemic, labor shortage, etc.) greatly affected construction costs. We therefore worked to find solutions to reduce costs and tendering strategies to limit the impact on the project. These issues were also very rigorously controlled throughout the project.
