Share
Description
The project involves the construction of a new plant for Styro’s Styro Plyo division, which specializes in the manufacture of metal parts, flashings, cladding, and folded sheet metal. The new facility will consolidate and optimize the company’s production, machining, packaging, and warehousing operations.
With a floor area of 14,530 square feet, the building also includes offices, common areas for employees, a cafeteria, and a fitness room. Outdoor storage areas complete the facilities. The building is organized around two distinct sections to effectively accommodate the company’s various functions, particularly production and storage activities.
As part of this project, our team provided project management services, from preliminary planning through to the commissioning of the new facilities. Our scope of work included, among other things, preparing and adjusting budgets, conducting value engineering, dividing the project into bid packages, and validating budgets prior to their release.
We also handled schedule planning and monitoring, cost control, coordination of professionals, and management of change orders, in addition to coordinating the machining equipment supplied by the client.
