Sila Neighbordhood – Phase 3

Construction of a multi-residential building

in progress

Description

The Sila 3 project consists of the construction of a multi-residential building with 113 rental units, including a three-story section, a six-story section, and an underground parking level.

The project consists of the construction of a multi-residential building comprising 113 housing units distributed across different sections of three and six storeys, as well as one underground parking level. The building structure is based on concrete foundations, while the above-ground portion is made of light steel framing, allowing for a construction that is both solid, efficient, and adapted to modern residential needs.

This large-scale project involved several technical and logistical challenges requiring close coordination between various stakeholders. Among the main issues encountered, soil conditions were found to be significantly more unstable than initially expected during preparatory work. This situation required a complete revision of the construction methodology to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the foundations.

Because of the close collaboration with the involved professionals and proactive site management, our team was able to quickly adapt the construction approach and adjust the project planning. Althought this unforeseen issue caused an approximate four week delay at the start of foundation work, the schedule adjustments implemented allowed the final project delivery date to be maintained.
